The business life joint-action model for secondary schools: high school vocational library

The aim of this case study is for students to understand the different paths that teachers have taken to get to the job they currently have. At the same time, the students were able to see that teachers are also ordinary people and to get a glimpse of them outside the teaching role.

Case study description. The students listened to the teachers’ presentations, with a snack break in between. After the presentations were over, we gathered together, and students conducted a Kahoot-visa with 2 questions about each teacher’s life. There was a prize of pizza for the top 3. In the future, this approach will be developed so that the Living Library will be held annually, with teachers taking turns, followed by university students the following year, and then entrepreneurs.
